Feeling festive? Get into the holiday spirit with Homestead Creamery eggnog bites!
1Preheat your oven to 350 degrees!
While the oven is heating, line a cookie sheet with aluminum foil and have about 2 inches hanging off of the edges. Spray a quick layer of cooking spray on top! This makes it super easy to cut and prepare your bites after baking!
2Mix the ingredients!
In a medium bowl, mix 2 1/2 cups of all-purpose flour, 3/4 teaspoons of ground nutmeg and 1/2 teaspoon of salt. Melt 2 1/2 sticks of butter and let sit until cooled. Add in the butter, 1 3/4 cups of granulated sugar, 2 eggs, 3 egg yolks, 3 tablespoons of Homestead Creamery eggnog and 1 tablespoon of vanilla extract.
Spread the batter evenly in the prepared cookie sheet. Bake the bites for about 30 minutes or until golden brown on top. Once baked, let the sheet of eggnog bites cool completely before removing it from the pan. Once cooled, lift the bites out of the pan using the foil handles.
4Serve and Enjoy!
Cut the bites into 1 inch squares and dust with confectioners' sugar and additional nutmeg if desired.
